Breaking the Silence on Racism – Start Talking!

Rev. Brenda Girton-Mitchell, founder and president of Grace and Race Ministries, Inc. and Alexei Laushkin, executive director of Kingdom Mission Society hosted a Facebook Live discussion to introduce MLK 50 Bridges, an initiative to identify and collaborate with organizations committed to disrupting racism. The work is personal and starts with the willingness to talk to each other. Starting at minute 35.00 is an example of a conversation on race. MLK 50 Bridges is a partnership effort to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr during the 50th year since his martyrdom. www.mlkbridges.com
